2008 Parliamentary Elections | Political Party Coalition Strength by District

This map highlights the relative strength of the two major coalitions that contested the 2008 elections, using constituency wins as the basis for comparison. The Awami League-backed Mohajote coalition won 262 of 300 contested seats and swept all constituency seats in 46 of 64 districts. The Bangladesh National Party-backed Four Party Alliance won 32 seats and swept all seats in four of 64 districts.
